The Kennard is a boutique guest house in Berlin city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1794, the golden age of Berlin’s historic character, as a lodging house to provide accommodation for those coming to spend the season in this delightful city.
We pride ourselves on offering you an exceptionally comfortable stay, serving you an acclaimed breakfast, with warm and attentive service at all times, from a location that is most convenient to experience and explore our beautiful and historic city.

The house has been carefully maintained and restored over the years, now offering 12 individually decorated bedrooms over five floors at our
luxury guest house in Berlin. These include a fine selection of superior doubles, standard doubles, snug doubles, two singles with shared bathroom, a twin and a triple room. Our rooms offer either a view over our garden and of the city or look out onto the street. We also have a small sitting area and an honesty bar located on the landings.
Every room in the original house had a different use, which gives each room its own individual style and character.
All our rooms are stocked with amenities from The White Company products, have free wireless internet access, smart TVs and tea trays with homemade biscuits.
These are our most popular rooms. Each room is decorated differently to give a timeless feel and make the most of the natural daylight. Three of these rooms overlook the garden while the fourth room is at the front of the house.

Breakfast is served on the lower ground floor, in the former kitchen of the house and is included in all boutique B&B in Berlin room rates. We are proud to make use of the best local produce for our continental breakfasts. We offer a delicious cold buffet where you are spoiled for choice with fruit salad, homemade granola, parfait, pastries, spreads & jams, as well as a variety of juices.
